The range of Zeiss Diascope spotting scopes were launched in September 2001. The range is naturally fully waterproof, nitrogen filled and the lenses are coated with the unique Carl Zeiss Advanced Optics System.

The focussing system has a useful coarse and fine focus. Importantly, the size and weight of this top-of-the-line 'scope is advantageous to birders: the 65 TFL is similar to the Swarovski ATS 65 HD and the 85 T FL is actually 250 gms lighter than the Leica APO Televid 77.

Closest focus is just 4m and 5m respectively, whilst field of view on all three eye pieces competes favourably. All models have a ten year warranty.
